I just want to quickly talk about Glossy Box, you may be put off by the word 'Glossy' but don't be!
Glossy Box are a subscription service that allow you to pay an amount of money every month, 10 pounds for ladies and 15 pounds for gents ( gents is quarterly rather than monthly!) for luxury samples of skin-care and hair-care and other related beauty products.
Glossy Box seem to have discontinued their Mens boxes! which is such a shame. They don't seem to have any info about a mens box on their site now at all. I thought they might be but i thought they were simply just moving it to quarterly boxes rather than monthly, i don't know but i was really exited to try this out.
who knows, they might bring it back!
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the last box for men and there was quite a few nice samples in there!
So here is my review of those products and i'll list them all and the full prices below!
This is what the box looks like! This box was the NIVEN & JOSHUA edition.
In this box the following products were included.
-EYRE BIOTANICS
Active Enzyme Facial Cleanser. rp £25.53/150ml
When trying out this cleanser i found it to be gentle as it says it claims to be and it felt really mild on my skin. There was no irritation at all. I used a small amount onto the inside of my fingers and then massaged in small circles around the face massaging the product into the skin and making sure that i was applying it evenly. You can also apply it into your palms and use on your neck. The scent is really fresh, smells kind of like dewy grass but it's pleasant and quite mild. The consistency is kind of like an ointment feel to it and comes out a kind of translucent yellow but massages in clear. I'd definitely recommend this! I know you might see the price and be like, cor thats a bit steep but i think it's worth a try and i think the product would go along way but maybe try and find a sample size somewhere first!
This product contains some great ingredients too!

Clean Face Wash. rp £15.50/250ml
Im currently using this product as i shower. I can't say anything wrong about the product at all. A little goes a long way which this product for sure and my skin felt smooth and tighter after use. It really made my face feel fresh. The scent is really nice too, not over-powering. It claims to smell like a light lemon scent but it also contains peppermint extract, it really makes your skin softer and wakes you up!
The product comes out transparent and lathers up. Use a small amount on your palms, lather up, then massage into your skin and rinse well. Obviously avoid your eye areas!
The product can also be used as a body cleanser to restore your skins natureal PH balance which is also handy!
again a lot of natural ingredients in this product which is great!
Highly Recommended.
-BAXTER OF CALIFORNIA
Oil Free Moisturiser. rp £20/120ml
This 'oil free' moisturiser certainly didn't seem oil-free to me! I used this product after i had bathed and was fully dry but i found this product really made my skin feel greasy and even oilier. My skin type is dry/mildly oily and this product seemed to leave me really shiny even though it claims to leave a shine free matte finish. This product also did not absorb into my skin quickly enough for me. It did give a hydrating feel but it was a little too hydrating. Maybe i used too much, who knows! but it did leave my skin softer after the product had absorbed in eventually so thats a plus!
I think this might benefit a Dry skin type but use lightly!
-MOLTON BROWN
Re-charge Black Pepper Bodywash. rp £18/300ml
I was excited to try this product as ive wanted to try Molton Brown for a while. This bodywash has a heavy scent and you can smell the black peppercorn extract as you lather on your skin. The black peppercorn oil is also said to be an aphrodisiac..wahey! whats not to lose! The bodywash also contains Bergamot oil which is bitter citrus scent that adds a fresh note. All in all a great product to really invigorate you!
Just apply to damp skin and lather well! I applied this twice as i loved the scent a lot.
-YU-BE
Vitamin Enriched Cream. rp £12/33g
Now, i was dubious of Yu-Be. Ive never heard about this brand before at all.

When i read the description i was like, wow this sounds like a great product! A cream which also is a medicated cream. I think this combination is great! and the product stays true to the description. The cream has a real Earthy scent and can be used on the skin, hands, elbows, feet etc, minor skin irritations as mentioned above and also on your dry lips!
The product is really effective. I tried it on the lips and got a great result and also tried in on my face and it absorbed really quickly and wasnt greasy at all. My skin felt fresh and soft.
The sample was small so you can get a few uses out of it but from what i tried i was really impressed!
The cream is for the following skin types - Dry, Normal, Sensitive
Highly Recommended folks!

Classic Strong Mint Toothpaste. rp £5.50/75ml
Not much to say about this product. It has a great flavour and freshness to it and i really love the packaging. My only irk was the texture but thats just my personal opinion. It left my mouth feeling clean and fresh so i guess it does the job! but you can get a range of tooth pastes which are cheaper and have a bigger amount of product. But still, it;s the packaging that makes this so alluring! really oldschool/ 1920's like vibe.

Orange Sandalwood Pre-Shave Oil. rp £18/59ml
I wish i got a bigger amount of product to sample but what i used i enjoyed. I really love using oils when shaving. They allow your skin and the hairs to become softer and add lubrication for an easier glide of your razor. I love sandlewood and orange so i loved the musky scent of this product.
The relaxing and anti-ageing properties of Sandalwood Oil with pH balancing properties and vitamins from Orange Extract help to balance and tone the skin so these ingredients have great properties!
Wet the skin before you apply to oil as it wont work / be effective if applied directly onto dry skin!
Make sure you massage the oil into your skin and you can also use the oil to sooth any irritations after your shaving.

- Anthocyanoside which is shown to strengthen the integrity of collagen structures for a tighter, smoother looking complexion.
- Salicylic Acid from White Willow Bark is lipid soluble which means it can penetrate sebaceous follicles, exfoliating clogged pores and help to reduce blemishes such as blackheads and what not!
